Synopsis:
Five-minute girlfriend. This is what Jett signs up for when she meets Adrian and his band Arabella at beach music festival Summer Storm. One kiss and the attraction is too electric to ignore, but Jett has no room for love and Adrian is Mr. Relationship who's getting over his recent breakup. The solution? Keep it simple. Keep it casual. For three months (that's the rule about breakups, right?), Jett helps Adrian move on and Adrian shows up on Jett's bed whenever she wants.
Then the three months are up and neither of them are in a hurry to be the first to leave. Does Jett walk away from a potential disaster or does she finally let someone into her closely-guarded heart?
Review
Six de los Reyes broke me into a million pieces. And it's such a beautiful feeling.
Feels Like Summer brought me back to life. It's such a good romance book, you all. I literally recommend everyone to pick it up and read it. (It's on sale now!!!) Six writes really great otps and the interactions between them are some of the best I have read in books in general. She drews them out and makes us hurt and be in pain but in the end it's so worth it. I can assure you this.
In this book there are rock boy bands and it's glorious. I love the camaraderie this whole group has. I want to be part of this family so badly, and whispers I want books for every single group member, please yes? We have our main love interest, Adrian, who I thought he was such a jerk at the beginning but fell in love with him really quickly after. He is such a PUPPY. He wants to make Jett very very happy in any way possible. He's always there when needed and he is shy and cute and a bossy person when he is with his band.
Jett is hands down one of my favorite female protagonists. She embraces her sexuality and she isn't here to take shit from no one. At the beginning she becomes Adrian's five minute girlfriend, because his ex is at the same event they all are and some of Adrian's bandmates ask Jett if she could maybe do them a favor and be Adrian's five minute girlfriend? It's such a wild ride since the beginning and it's so FUN. You never go down that roller coaster. You'll have so much fun reading this book and I recommend you do it in one go because you won't be able to wait to know more about and what will happen after every chapter ending.
I love that Jett doesn't hate Adrian's ex. In fact they all hit it off really well. I love that she even helps Jett at the end and it's really freaking good to see women supporting women, especially in romance novels. I've read many books cough cough that the protagonists are misogynistic and dislike every woman that nears the hero. So it was a breath of fresh air to see Jett and Ellie become semi-friends.
And finally don't you just LOOOVE #romanceclass books? I love that sometimes authors write other characters from other books into the current book? Like I love even from the same author like past works. But sometimes it is much better because they add characters from OTHER AUTHOR'S WORKS. And they all meet!!!! So it was awesome to see Trainman in FEELS LIKE SUMMER. I didn't know them when I read it the first time, but when I finally read Jay's book, I was definitely having many feels inside my body.
Highly recommend everyone to pick it up if you're in the mood for summer. It has those summer vibes, beach, music, romance, friendships and parties.FEELS LIKE SUMMER by @sixdlr— 💐 (@diversaesthetic) March 22, 2017

I've got a Six de los Reyes book on my Kindle right now so I will definitely be reading that first but this sounds like my kind of book so I seriously need to get this in my life. I figure I'll try something else by the author first, though. I am definitely in the mood for summer, though, and this sounds like the perfect book for that.
