Hello, you all! This post you might remember I did one before, like a while ago. I wanted to recreate it? Because you all know how each year/even each month you find out about new books. And I got some more to even make a new rec list around the world.

Want to travel around the world and not pay thousands of $$$$? Pick one of these books and you'll be transported there. This is a TRAVEL AROUND THE WORLD list, with book set in countries all around the world. I left out USA because many books are set there and I'm kind of tired of seeing that, and you might be tired too. So I decided to create this! I hope you all love it as much as I do.

Note: I included Hawaii/Alaska, though I know they are part of the US
Note #1: Thank you to all who helped and who RTed my tweet and more people came and @ me their options.
Note #2: In the list you will see various changes in the fonts, this is why:

Italics: Young Adult
Red color font: Middle Grade
Pink color font: Romance
[*]: Have not yet released

Two lives linked by tragedy…
Claudia is desperate to heal from her traumatic loss, but can’t stop thinking about her run-in with evil….or the grizzled mountain man whose quick thinking and good aim saved her life. When she shows up on Shep's doorstep again, she finds she isn't the only one who can't move on.
…saved by bliss.

Review

I seriously love every Rebekah Weatherspoon book. And I think I will forever love her and her work. They're always so amazing and entertaining. Plus the romance is one of the best I've ever read. I absolutely love that the heroes always ask for consent and this one also has a very Soft but hard hero.

This started up with a BANG. Like wow. I didn't expect all of that in the first chapters but Rebekah, as I said, knows how to get your attention and keep it that way. We meet our hero and I would think the main character, more than Claudia because we get Shep's POV more tbh. And he lives in this cabin on a mountain all alone with his very big dog. He's a photographer and he also a Dom. Shep is seriously the best and he is so sweet and caring. You'll fall for him quickly like I did definitely.

Claudia is a city girl, she's a fashionista and she is on the mountain to have a trip with her brother. But everything goes wrong really, really fast. She is suddenly escaping from very bad man and she ends up at the front of Shep's house and Shep is the one who saves her and oh my god it's so wild, but SO GOOD. I enjoyed it so much, Rebekah kept me at the edge of my seat, wow.

We have various time skips and I do enjoy them very much. Claudia and Shep get to know each other and I love that they have this understanding between them that doesn't need words? It's so lovely and really great to read about since the start when they finally talk in the hospital and they have this connection that many can see means something (!!!) They also get into a Dom/sub relationship, it's a first for Claudia but she want to experience it with Shep and she knows everything will be fine. It does have BDSM so if you're not so comfortable I would rec to skip the scenes? But really Rebekah writes amazing romantic and steamy scenes, so def give it a chance!

Claudia also has PTSD and Rebekah writes this book in a way that Claudia needs to heal with the help of herself and she needs to take that step, it's not Shep and not love that heals her. It's herself and the power she has.

I am so in love with this book, what more would you want to know.... Claudia is Caribbean, her mom was from Grenada. She's definitely a fat woman. Shep is a delicious bearded mountain man, he has tattoos (HELLOOOO). It's a really great dynamics and I cannot wait for more because that ending got my heart. I want to see how it is going for Claudia and Shep and meet the new couple yay ~

Title: Spirit Hunters
Author: Ellen Oh
Genre: Middle Grade
Publisher: HarperCollins
Release date: July 25, 2017

Synopsis:
Harper Raine doesn’t like her new house from the moment she steps inside. It makes her skin crawl and her hair stand on end. There’s an energy to the house that just doesn’t feel right….
There are rumors that the Raine family’s new house is haunted. Unexplainable events and tragedy seem to have befallen every family who’s lived there before. Harper isn’t sure she believes those rumors until her younger brother, Michael, starts acting strangely.
The whole atmosphere gives Harper a sense of déjà vu, but she can’t remember why. Harper knows that the memories she’s blocking will help make sense of her brother’s behavior and the strange and dangerous sensations she feels in the house, but will she be able to put the pieces together in time?

Review

An e-galley was provided by the publisher via Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review. Thank you HarperCollins. This not affect my rating or review.

100% scary. 100% amazing. Spirit Hunters by Ellen Oh is a fabulous story about a Korean-American girl who moves to a new house with her family after a series of events that happened in her past town. Suddenly weird stuff start happening in this new house and she finds out that the house is known as a haunted and scary house that actually people have died there. It's a perfectly good scary story for younger kids.

This is a book about family but also about friendships. I love every single member of the Raine family, especially Harper, our protagonist. She knows stuff are happening in the house. She doesn't know that happened in her past; she lost her memory a while ago about some events in her life and she can't seem to recall them. So she writes these diary passages and Ellen put them in the book and it's a really good way to cut between chapters.

Also Harper's brother, Michael, he is such a sweetheart but oh my god so many things happen in this book and you will feel for him and the family and get scared and you lit will not know what to do with so many emotions inside of you. This book is such a perfect example that Ellen Oh is an amazing author and her stories are unforgettable.

I'm very happy with the middle grade books I've been reading, all of them have been ARCs and I can happily say that all of them are on their top of their games. Middle grade is ON POINT this year, it's even better than YA to be honest. Between Spirit Hunters and so many awesome titles like The Gauntlet or Hello, Universe, kids are going to be so happy this 2017 to have so many books from different genres that have characters that are racially diverse and can see themselves represented in it. Because Spirit Hunters does have a Korean-American MC but not only that. Harper befriends a girl, and this girl is Jamaican which it's all the levels of amazing and 10 more reasons to get this book as soon as it comes out.

If you like ghosts, haunted houses, delicious food, great family dynamics and new friendships that feel so natural, this book is right for you.

Hello you all! Silvana here. 2017 has been great in terms on diversity to be honest. There has been some racist debut/books out there but there has been some amazing ones and ones that will be released soon! You might notice the culture being represented below the book title. You might also notice that some don't have it and that's because I have not read the book and don't know the rep inside it. For some I did manage to find in articles and sites, but other books are unknown to me but I do know they have the rep I am looking for, just not the specific culture. I hope you enjoy the list and add them all in your TBR!
