The Book Voyagers

So one of my big loves in liiiiiife is... not food sadly. (But close) It's MANGA. If you do not know what a manga is, Wikipedia help me out please:

"Manga are comics created in Japan or by creators in the Japanese language, conforming to a style developed in Japan in the late 19th century."

So basically they're Japanese comics and they are amazing. Well some of them are and I just had this (crazy) idea to create a rec list with my All Time Faves. These are the ones I reread 24/7. I'm always back to them at one point. They are GOOD; let it be in characters, plot, art (very important to me hehe!) and overall the whole story.

Title: TOKYO GHOUL
Genre: Horror, Mystery, Psychological, Supernatural
Rating: 10/10
Chapters: 144

Summary:
Strange murders are happening in Tokyo. Due to liquid evidence at the scene, the police conclude the attacks are the result of 'EATER' type ghouls. College buddies Kaneki and Hide come up with the idea that ghouls are imitatins humans so that's why they haven't ever seen one. Little did they knnow that their theory may very well become reality.

Why you should pick it up:
✧ Cannibals aka ghouls
✧ Kaneki Ken the MC is the purest soul in the world and his story is a tragedy and he says it to you since the very first chapter
✧ All the characters this story has, you will care for them and even though some are evil you WILL CARE FOR THEM
✧ There is a sequel (Tokyo Ghoul: RE) and it's the best thing in the world. And Kaneki's story is one of my fave character developments but also transformations and everyone should experience this.
✧ The art is beautiful, the story is heartbreaking but also really good and amazing.
✧ It has gore and other trigger warning. So if you're uncomfortable with blood and insects and creepy things like eyes, this is not for you.

On the surface Logan Wilde is all good-old-boy charm and humor, but he can't seem to outrun the hell-raising reputation of his high school years. Although he has thought about leaving his hometown in Falcon, Alabama, he has grown to love the town, his restaurant, and his part-time gig coaching the football team.
Jessica estimates it will take a week tops to get Logan Wilde's signature on her generous offer, but their first meeting is anything but professional. Logan shreds Jessica's control and unleashes a passion she didn't know existed even as a deeper connection between them takes root.
