It wasn't so great as Katee's other books but this is the Brazen side of Entangled and I know these books mostly are hot and sexy as hell. And yeah, Foolproof Love was all of that. It also has its sweeter moments. Jules and Adam made me have a good time, and I'm not gonna lie but this book was really addictive - I nearly finished it all in one go. I couldn't stop reading it and truthfully it was a good and short romance story.

It has:
- Fake dating (if you're into that, come to my side wink wink)
- Sexy times inside a car, oh yeah
- MC Latina
- Dirty-mouthed hero *oops* (you totally need this)

As all Brazen they are rather short so I wanted so much more. Almost always the stories are a bit rushed by the end, but I also always have such a good time reading them. Brazen side of Entangled is so ADDICTING AND *INSERTS FLAME EMOJI* I recommend to those who want a quick sexy and romantic read filled with lots of funny moments, great friendships, family and fake dating trope - pick up Foolproof Love by Katee Robert.

When I dance I’m not a sister or a daughter, not a lover or a friend. I exist in the moment, onstage, where I turn pain into art and pretend the illusion is real. My past is an abomination and my future is unwritten, but my present is pure, fluid, and focused. I’m content, or at least I think I am, until the night I meet a man who makes me want more.

He’s broken, just like me, but in different ways. He’s older and nothing like the men I’m used to. Compared to him, they’re all boys, immature and insipid, while he’s a force of nature, confident and virile. Virile is a word I’ve never used before, and I only use it now because he embodies it so completely.

At first, he fights the attraction between us almost as hard as I do. But when words like destiny and soulmate whisper through my thoughts, how can I ignore them? He can have any girl he wants, but he looks at me as if I’m the girl he’s waited for his whole life. How can I tell him I’m not that girl?

I wish I were enough for him, wish I were whole. But beneath my facade, I’ve been falling to pieces for a long time, and I don’t know if I’m strong enough to resist the downward momentum.

This book had the typical NA story tbh. But it's super addicting. I couldn't stop! I started it and finished in hours. If you're looking for a fun and sexy NA, look no more, Breaking Skin is your choice.

Some good stuff I liked a lot: 
→ Age gap (YOU KNOW I'M WEAK GUYS)
→ The main hero has a kid
→ Main heroine is a ballerina and hero is a former hockey player
→ Family dynamics!! (but also really disliked a character of 1/2 of the family)
→ There's a dog. A really great, protective, cute dog

Some things I did not like:
→ Nikki thought every single woman that came close to Cole "bad" "mean" and other words I don't want to put here. I'm so tired that woman pit themselves against each other for guys or for any other reason tbh. They can be friends!!! We can seriously.
→ I hated, hated, Nikki's sister. And I'm just trying to not come up with this long paragraph for her because I might spoil every single thing but yeah. She's toxic, I'm sorry, but throughout the whole book, she was.
→ Over-protective hero to the max. I mean I'm okay with a protective of his girl kind of hero. But not one that practically doesn't let her do anything because he's afraid something will happen to her and because of that, he takes decisions (without consulting her first!) and does them.

Debra Doxer was born in Boston, and other than a few lost years in the California sunshine, she has always resided in the Boston area. She writes fiction, technical software documents, illegible scribbles on sticky notes, and texts that get mangled by AutoCorrect. She writes for a living, and she writes for fun.
