In high school they were the perfect couple—until the day Georgia left Leo in the cold...

Hockey player Leo Trevi has spent the last six years trying to do two things: get over the girl who broke his heart, and succeed in the NHL. But on the first day he’s called up to the newly franchised Brooklyn Bruisers, Leo gets checked on both sides, first by the team’s coach—who has a long simmering grudge, and then by the Bruisers’ sexy, icy publicist—his former girlfriend Georgia Worthington.

Saying goodbye to Leo was one of the hardest things Georgia ever had to do—and saying hello again isn’t much easier. Georgia is determined to keep their relationship strictly professional, but when a press conference microphone catches Leo declaring his feelings for her, things get really personal, really fast....

Thank you Netgalley and Penguin for the egalley.

Leo Trevi has become one of my top Sarina Bowen heroes. I'm still crushing on Bridger but Leo is close close close. Sarina has transitioned to the big league. It's not just college hockey now, but the NHL. We see Leo move through going into a new team, adaptating and getting close with his teammates, a coach who hates him and the reunion with his ex-girlfriend. He's such a sweetheart and caring, and you can see he really does care about Georgia A LOT.

"She tasted like the happiest years of his life."

Georgia is in charge of the PR on the team. She wants to get to the top and stay there. She has a serious bump up ahead when she sees Leo for the first time in YEARS. They were high school sweethearts and loved each other a lot. In fact, they still have those feelings. They didn't manage to forget about each other.

"You and I don't have one-night stands. We have forever night stands."

Their relationship was so sweet to see and read. One of my favorite Sarina couples but yes, guys, it's so good. They are clearly in love and had never stopped. They have things to fix and misundertandings to figure out, but you know by reading about them, that they'll figure out and keep moving forwards. They are one of those couples you just know that are perfect for each other.

"I loved you when I was sixteen, and I told you when I was seventeen. When I was eighteen, you cut me loose. But I never stopped."

I cannot wait to read more about this team. Book #2 is going to be so lit!!!!! And I hope my wish comes true and the characters I want to end up together will be the MCs of Book #3 :') This new series of Sarina Bowen is filled with sweet moments, romance, great MCs and a sport she knows too well.
