Title: An Indecent Proposal
Series: The O'Malley's #3
Author: Katee Robert
Publisher: Grand Central Publishing/Forever
Release date: August 30th, 2016

Goodreads | Amazon | B&N | Kobo | iBooks

Greed. Ambition. Violence.

Those are the "values" Olivia Rashidi learned from her Russian mob family-and the values she must leave behind for the sake of her daughter. When she meets Cillian O'Malley, she recognizes the red flag of his family name . . . yet she still can't stop herself from seeing the smoldering, tortured man. To save her family, Olivia sets out to discover Cillian's own secrets, but the real revelation is how fast-and how hard-she's falling for him.

Plagued by a violent past, Cillian is more vulnerable than anyone realizes. Anyone except Olivia, whose beauty, compassion, and pride have him at "hello," even if she's more inclined to say good-bye to an O'Malley. While his proposal of sex with no strings seems simple, what he feels for her isn't, especially after he learns that she belongs to a rival crime family. Cillian knows that there is no escape from the life, but Olivia may be worth trying and dying for .

Title: Georgia Peaches and Other Forbidden Fruit
Series: Standalone
Author: Jaye Robin Brown
Publisher: HarperTeen
Release date: August 30th, 2016

Goodreads | Amazon | B&N

Joanna Gordon has been out and proud for years, but when her popular radio evangelist father remarries and decides to move all three of them from Atlanta to the more conservative Rome, Georgia, he asks Jo to do the impossible: to lie low for the rest of her senior year. And Jo reluctantly agrees.

Although it is (mostly) much easier for Jo to fit in as a straight girl, things get complicated when she meets Mary Carlson, the oh-so-tempting sister of her new friend at school. But Jo couldn’t possibly think of breaking her promise to her dad. Even if she’s starting to fall for the girl. Even if there’s a chance Mary Carlson might be interested in her, too. Right?

Thank you Edelweiss and Harper Collins for the e-ARC

I really really liked Georgia Peaches and Other Forbidden Fruit. Especially the cast of characters! Jaye Robin Brown knows how to write group of friends and family and love. I had such a fun time while reading this book and seriously, didn't want anything to end.

- A big part of this book is about religion and faith and belief. And you can see two sides of the coin in this book: Jo's family and her new stepmom's family.

- Jo (the MC) has a deal with her dad. And when they move to the new town, she needs to hide that she likes girls. Of course, then she meets Mary Carlson and everything comes crashing down.

- Family support and A+ friendships.

- Flirtinggggg I can't wait to get my own copy because 1) that cover is my favorite thing in the world, it's so damn cute, 2) this story is incredible and will forever be with me in my heart.

I can't wait to recommend this book to every single person (yes yes yes)

Jaye Robin Brown, or Jro to her friends, lives and writes in the mountains north of Asheville, North Carolina. She's in awe of magic and beauty, and is a stalwart champion for the underdog, both human and other. When she's not writing, you can find her in the art room of the high school where she teaches, or on her small farm hanging out with her dogs, cats, and horses.

So one of my big loves in liiiiiife is... not food sadly. (But close) It's MANGA. If you do not know what a manga is, Wikipedia help me out please:

"Manga are comics created in Japan or by creators in the Japanese language, conforming to a style developed in Japan in the late 19th century."

So basically they're Japanese comics and they are amazing. Well some of them are and I just had this (crazy) idea to create a rec list with my All Time Faves. These are the ones I reread 24/7. I'm always back to them at one point. They are GOOD; let it be in characters, plot, art (very important to me hehe!) and overall the whole story.

Title: TOKYO GHOUL
Genre: Horror, Mystery, Psychological, Supernatural
Rating: 10/10
Chapters: 144

Summary:
Strange murders are happening in Tokyo. Due to liquid evidence at the scene, the police conclude the attacks are the result of 'EATER' type ghouls. College buddies Kaneki and Hide come up with the idea that ghouls are imitatins humans so that's why they haven't ever seen one. Little did they knnow that their theory may very well become reality.

Why you should pick it up:
✧ Cannibals aka ghouls
✧ Kaneki Ken the MC is the purest soul in the world and his story is a tragedy and he says it to you since the very first chapter
✧ All the characters this story has, you will care for them and even though some are evil you WILL CARE FOR THEM
✧ There is a sequel (Tokyo Ghoul: RE) and it's the best thing in the world. And Kaneki's story is one of my fave character developments but also transformations and everyone should experience this.
✧ The art is beautiful, the story is heartbreaking but also really good and amazing.
✧ It has gore and other trigger warning. So if you're uncomfortable with blood and insects and creepy things like eyes, this is not for you.

Hi, guys! Sil here. Yesterday in the Twitter Universe, I saw great Alisha Rai and Courtney Milan getting these tweets because they spoke about this article in Culturess called Sports-Themed Romance Novels: Two Great Tastes... and that article is great + it talks about the lack of diversity in regard of the MCs or secondary characters in sports romances.

So of course, I had to talk a bit about this because IT IS SO TRUE. I wrote a super long thread saying why it is impossible writing all-white sports teams when in REAL LIFE there is nothing like that.
I am tired of finding a sports romance and it sounds good but the cast is all white? It's impossible for a sports team especially football+

Title: Six Month Rule
Series: Kingston Ale House #2
Author: A. J. Pine
Publisher: Entangled Publishing
Release date: July 11th, 2016

Goodreads | Amazon | B&N | Kobo | iBooks

The second I met Will Evans in his three-piece suit with that hot as hell British accent, I wanted him.

That is...until he insulted my shoes and stole my corner office.

Now I have to work side-by-side with the surly British arsehole who just set my career back six months.

It's fine. That accent won't get to me, no matter how sexy it sounds when he asks permission to do things professionals shouldn't do. On the couch. In the corner office I still wish was mine.

Maybe we can't keep our hands off each other, but I'm sure as hell not falling for a guy who lives an ocean away. Because in six months, he's leaving for good.

I don't do broken hearts, but you know what they say...

There's a first time for everything.

Title: An Indecent Proposal
Series: The O'Malley #3
Author: Katee Robert
Publisher: Grand Central Publishing / Forever
Release date: August 30th, 2016

Goodreads | Amazon | B&N | iBooks | Kobo

Greed. Ambition.

Cillian knows that there is no escape from the life, but Olivia may be worth trying-and dying-for . . .

The third book in Katee's mafia series is as amazing as the rest. Getting to know Cillian O'Malley with a closer look is a good thing. I didn't know if I would like his POV so much, or better yet, like I thought of him as a little kid (HE ISN'T THO) because we got his older siblings' books first and I was like whaaaat when I thought of Cillian being a kid. But nope. He wears suits and tattoos and he is supah nice looking (Olivia thinks so too).

There is more Mafia element. I love this series because that doesn't go away... like ever. The O'Malley's have lots of problems with a lot of mafia families. And this time the Romanovs are on the spot. I am more scared of them than all the other, I have no clue why but it's just I DON'T KNOW THEM VERY WELL. They can have secrets under their sleeves. They can do anything and I wouldn't expect it so this freaks me out a bit. But it made my experience so much better!

Olivia and her daughter were such a joy to read about! Their story is: Olivia is the step sister of the current head of the Romanov family. Though she doens't want to be part of the family, Dmitri promised their late father to make Olivia a Romanov. Olivia isn't here for you. Her only concern is to protect her daughter. So when she meets Cillian, she knows he is an O'Malley and knows he's always going to pick his family over her.

What she doesn't know is that the O'Malley's aren't such a tight family anymore. They know pain and they know loss. The siblings are each with their own and they don't talk with each other as much as before the tragedy.

The romance is off the charts hot and I love that Cillian is super sweet and caring with them. You think tattoos and a mafia boss's son? But he is all that but so much more. Cillian O'Malley is so much more.

New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Katee Robert learned to tell her stories at her grandpa’s knee. She found romance novels at age twelve and it changed her life. When not writing sexy contemporary and speculative fiction romance novels, she spends her time playing imaginary games with her wee ones, driving her husband batty with what-if questions, and planning for the inevitable zombie apocalypse.

Release date: August 1st, 2016

Goodreads | Amazon | B&N | Kobo | iBooks

They say opposites attract, but this is just ridiculous.

Quinn Baldwyn is in a mess of his own. He’s been dodging his wealthy family’s matchmaking attempts—and life advice—for years, but with his sister’s wedding on the horizon, he needs of a shield of his own.

He and Aubry can barely hold down a civil conversation, but in bed…fireworks. And the closer they get to Quinn’s sister’s wedding, the more he realizes that he might actually like Aubry.

Now it’s up to him to convince her she might actually like him, too.

Fool Me Once has fake dating, hate to love trope, two fiery and proud characters, lots of sexy moments, a gaming Con and a wedding.

Title: Once Upon a Player
Author: Agay Llanera
Release date: August 9th, 2014

Goodreads | Amazon | B&N | Smashwords

Gorgeous college senior Val Fabian is a player in every sense of the word. She's the star spiker of her university's volleyball team, and she never runs out of dates. But it seems that this year, she has finally been bitten by the commitment bug. She sets her sights on an unexpected target--the unassuming yet ultra-cute Jake Clementia. Val is used to getting what she wants, and is sure she'll snag him before graduation. But in the process of winning his heart, she is sideswiped by a surprise move that sends her tumbling from her pedestal.

Hell. To. The. Yeah. When I read a book I have so high expectations for and actually ends up being so much more? I get super happy and get to this sort of "slump." All the books I've read after this one don't feel like great enough and I just want to go back to Val and her funny moments and reread all of this book.
